About Jay

Bonjour! My name is Jay, and I am currently a student at UC Berkeley majoring in Architecture. I have been a math tutor for 4 years, mainly tutoring K-12 students, and I was a student leader of the California Scholarship Federation, an organization that provides peer tutoring in public high schools across California. I place a strong emphasis on understanding each student's individual needs, having tutored a student before with ADHD and others who spoke Mandarin Chinese as their first language. I offer services from virtual learning to providing personalized math practice, so if you have questions about any and all things math, I'm here to help!

About the lesson

Struggling in math class? I offer online video-chat tutoring sessions (1 on 1) on any day of the week with flexible scheduling and hours!
- Math tutoring is available for those of all ages
- I cover Basic Math, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Calculus
- Discord video-chats (with or without camera, up to you!) with interactive white-board learning
- Lesson plans are unique to every individual!
- Tutoring sessions can be for homework help, learning ahead, or guided review
- Additional personalized review material can also be provided
- Need help on the go? I am also easily reachable by text for quick clarifications during non-tutoring hours
