About Khathu

I am a private equity analyst with a background in finance and politics, and I studied at London Business School. I have always enjoyed helping others understand complex ideas clearly and simply. I want to teach because I know how tough university can be, and I believe good guidance can make all the difference. My goal is to support students in building confidence and mastering the subjects with real-world context and practical examples.

About the lesson

My tutoring approach is built on clarity, structure, and application. I focus on breaking down complex concepts into simple, digestible parts. For finance, I ensure students understand both the theoretical frameworks (such as DCF valuation, capital structure, and market efficiency) and their practical application through case studies and real-world examples, particularly for CFA Level 1 students. For politics and history, I link theory to current and historical events, helping students develop critical thinking and essay-writing skills grounded in evidence. I tailor each session to the student's goals, whether that is mastering core material, improving analytical writing, or excelling in exams. I encourage active engagement by asking questions, using past papers, and assigning short tasks that reinforce learning. My method fosters confidence, academic discipline, and independent thinking.
