About Ernesto

I am a native Spanish teacher with over 15 years of global experience, currently teaching in a secondary school up to A-Level at a top local grammar school. From volunteering and teaching in Africa to working with both UK and international students, I know exactly how to make language learning natural, engaging, and highly effective.

Having inside knowledge of the grammar school ecosystem, I have 15+ years of proven success stories helping students jump grade boundaries and find a genuine love for the language. I hold a current, clean Enhanced DBS check.

My Availability:
- Mondays: Most of the day
- Tuesday to Friday: Late afternoons and evenings

Whether your goal is securing a Grade 9 or A* in upcoming GCSE / A-Level exams, or developing fluent, confident speaking skills for real-world travel and business, I tailor every session to your pace, learning style, and individual goals.

What we can focus on:

- Targeted GCSE & A-Level Prep: Comprehensive mastery of all four exam pillars (Speaking, Listening, Reading, and Writing) across major UK exam boards, specifically AQA and Edexcel.
- Exam Strategy & Technique: I teach students exactly how to structure high-scoring essays and hit specific mark scheme criteria.
- Conversational coaching: relaxed, high confidence practice tailored for adults or children looking to speak fluently.

I offer the first lesson completely free so we can assess your current level, target weak areas, and structure a personalised learning path moving forward.
