About Reuben
I graduated with an LLB (Cum Laude) from the University of Cape Town in 2024, and am in the final stages of completing my LLM in Criminology, Law and Society at UCT. I have worked as a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Private Law at UCT since 2025, which has given me extensive experience in teaching law in small group sessions or one on one consultations.

I have experience teaching undergraduate law courses at all levels of the LLB degree, as well as tutoring courses on criminological theory. When it comes to law, I focus on explaining complex case law in simple terms, identifying and applying core legal principles. In criminology, I unpack foundational theories of crime and deviance, explaining their arguments and how they apply in practice. My lessons are aimed at university students studying law, criminology, or criminal justice.
