About Maud
I am a Singing tutor with 12 years of experience teaching High School and College students. I have successfully taught over 250 students, helping them strengthen vocal technique, stage confidence, and musical expression. My teaching philosophy focuses on personalised guidance, creativity, and encouragement, ensuring that every student enjoys learning while making real progress.
In my lessons, I cover vocal technique, breath control, pitch, tone, rhythm, and performance skills, preparing students for recitals, competitions, and college events. Many of my students have earned recognition and awards for their dedication and growth.
I also include music theory, ear training, and sight-reading, giving students a complete musical foundation. I strive to create a supportive and motivating environment, where students feel confident exploring their voice and expressing themselves.
My goal is to help students find their unique voice, perform confidently, and develop a lifelong passion for music, making every lesson fun and inspiring.

My singing lessons are designed to be flexible, creative, and tailored to individual learning styles. I adapt lessons for auditory, visual, or kinaesthetic learners, ensuring effective progress for every student. Creativity is a major focus—I encourage students to explore different vocal styles, improvise, and develop their own artistic expression. Diplomacy guides my feedback, allowing me to provide constructive guidance that is positive and motivating.
Alongside singing, I teach music theory, sight-reading, ear training, rhythm, and vocal technique. I also emphasise performance skills, including stage presence, emotional interpretation, and lyrical expression. My approach combines technical mastery with artistic freedom, helping students become confident, expressive, and versatile performers.
I teach students of all levels, from beginners learning the fundamentals to advanced performers preparing for auditions, competitions, or professional performances. My lessons are structured, inspiring, and creatively engaging.
