About Rafael
My name is Rafael Mendoza, born in Australia but from two distinct backgrounds. I've grown up with an intense love for the written word, and most of my spare time is spent in it and analysing it. The truth is that literature is one of the areas in which a degree does not surpass passion, and though i have studied literature myself I know that literature is not a science. I have a great love of the classic and modern Russian authors and also have a passion for 20th century American authors and poets. What about you? What genres and authors do you want to study? I want nothing more than to share this passion with others, even if it spills into other subjects and problems of life such as modern politics, philosophy and ethics. Join me!

Jumping into literature is essentially jumping into the world at large. I specialise in Russian and American literature but study and love a broad range of periods and styles. My lessons usually go for 45 minutes to an hour, in which I can give you the tools to best analyse and draw purpose from the literature you will study for the rest of your life, as well as the book you need to ace that test on! My lesson style is both methodological and fluid, for literature is nothing without the other.
