About Zahraa

I have a BA in English Literture and Masters in Contemporary Literature. I currently work for a major book publisher in London and have experience teaching secondary school students English Language, Literature and Art. A supportive tutor who wants you to feel confident in your essay writing and exams, and reaching your fullest potential in your studies! Very fast at responding back and available for urgent support.

About the lesson

Tutor looking to help you with Academic essay writing for university or GCSE/A-level English exams/essays.

I have a BA in English Literature and a Masters in Contemporary Literature.

I currently work at a major London book publishers and have done so for the past 5 years. Prior to this I worked as a training secondary school teacher for English and Art including GCSE level students.

My skills include helping students expand their academic writing, and prepare for their examinations. I would like to help you with all parts of academic writing and exams whether that is how to study and prepare for your English exams, how to research, how to structure, edit and deliver a thorough piece of academic writing and how to develop your writing from GCSE/A Level to writing at university level.

I can offer this support by reading through your work with you, providing written feedback, or through a video call /face to face meeting where we can work through your work together and devise a unique study plan tailored for you!

I can assist with:

- How to plan, structure, write and edit your essay
- How to research effectively for an essay.
- How to prepare for your exams (how do I study?)
- Academic Writing
- Creative Writing
- How to reference/cite and create a bibliography correctly

My tutorial ranges between 30 mins to 1hr, but happy to stay on and work through for longer periods.
