About Victoria

Victoria’s teaching style is calm, patient, and highly intentional. She designs lessons with clear goals, consistent routines, and developmentally appropriate strategies that meet each child’s individual learning needs. Her goal is to partner with families to strengthen foundational skills and foster a positive, confident approach to learning during the critical early elementary years.

About the lesson

I specialize in working with young learners in Kindergarten through 3rd grade, where building strong foundations and confidence is essential. My teaching style is warm, patient, and structured, helping children feel comfortable and successful as they learn.

Lessons are designed to be developmentally appropriate, engaging, and supportive. I use clear routines, short learning segments, and hands-on activities to keep students focused and motivated. Skills are taught step by step, with plenty of practice and encouragement along the way.

I place a strong emphasis on:

* Building confidence and a love of learning

* Developing foundational skills at the child’s pace

* Using visuals, movement, and interactive activities

* Offering positive feedback and gentle guidance

Each lesson will follow a predictable routine so children know what to expect and feel secure.

1. Welcome & Warm-Up:
We start with a friendly check-in and a quick review of familiar skills to build confidence and focus.

2. Skill Introduction:
I introduce one clear learning goal using simple language, modeling, and visual supports so students understand what they are learning and why.

3. Guided Practice:
Your child practices the skill with my support. I guide, encourage, and adjust instruction to ensure understanding while keeping learning positive.

4. Independent or Play-Based Practice
Students practice skill independently using activities that reinforce the skill in a fun, meaningful way.

5. Wrap-Up & Celebration
We review what was learned, celebrate effort and progress, and end the lesson on a positive note.
