About Guillermo
Hello! my name is Guillermo Raices (Willie Roots). I started playing the Piano from an early age and over the years I had the opportunity to share stages, recordings and tours with great artists, from whom I learned and who left very important marks on me throughout my career. On the other hand, I also dedicated myself to the study of the Hammond Organ, which, although it is a keyboard instrument, has a completely different technique and conception from the rest of the keyboards and even more so, comparing it to an acoustic piano. With more than 15 years of experience, I make my musical knowledge available, transmitting it in a clear and entertaining way, adapting to the needs/goals of the student. I do the on-line classes (Skype, Zoom, etc), connecting from my recording studio where I currently work. The audio is sent live, through a properly assembled system with which the final quality is professional as well as the video quality. I have two high definition cameras so that the person who is learning has a clear and fluid view of my hands. I specialize in African American music and its derivatives EJ: Blues, Soul, Funk, Jazz, Bossa and many more! I invite those who have any doubts about starting their learning on-line, to try a demonstration of a few minutes for free and thus observe the live dynamics of a personalized class.
