About Danyal

As somebody who used to be in set 3, struggling to even pass maths and science, but is now working at a grade 9 level for GCSEs, I truly understand the sociology behind why so many students struggle to progress, and it's something I'm dedicated to helping other students tackle. My classes won't be like a typical classroom: crowded, noisy, insufficient and ineffective. My sessions are a positive environment, where I can show my tutee how they can progress to achieving grades they'd never believe they could get through gentle, positive affirmations and teachings. I want to help students like myself, and help them aim higher than ever before!

About the lesson

In my lessons, I, while teaching, pay great attention to details of what certain areas of learning my tutee struggles in. I use the details I collect throughout each lesson to cater a lesson and lesson starters based on my tutee's weaknesses. I try to be supportive, kind and encouraging throughout my tutoring, rewarding and congratulating small steps to big progress. I aim to compare topics to real-life situations and break it down in a way which my tutee can understand. But I also ensure that my lessons are fun, through small breaks throughout learning and games which make the learning even more fun! It's a bundle of not only joy, but pushing ourselves to the limit with new challenges every time. Although I may have just finished my GCSEs, as somebody who has been tutoring for over a year and went from set 3 maths in school to being predicted a grade 9 in my GCSEs, I truly understand the importance of progress and how to approach it in an efficient, positive way! My lessons are typically going to be for students in years 7-11, particularly those who are aiming to go from grades 1-4 to 7-9. With my lessons, the sky is the limit! :)
