About Clifton
I have been teaching and tutoring all levels of English, Reading, Writing, Grammar, and Math from beginning to Algebra 1 for over 15 years. Every student whom i have taught/tutored has gone on to receive his or her high school diploma, and over 65% have gone on to college.

I obtained my Bachelor's degree in English Literature from Wilberforce university, and my Master's in English Education from The Ohio State University. I believe that truly effective tutoring and learning occurs through teacher modeling and student practice. I model what is to be learned for the student, and then allow the student to attempt the work. The student then receives guided practice to further solidify the ideas/concepts being modeled.
