About Alexandria
Hi! I'm Alexandria, a licensed teacher with a B.S. in Applied Mathematics and experience teaching and tutoring students from elementary through high school mathematics. I currently teach middle school math and have worked with students in whole-class, small-group, and one-on-one settings.
I am passionate about helping students build confidence in math and understand concepts beyond memorizing procedures. I believe every student can succeed in mathematics with the right support, encouragement, and strategies tailored to their learning style.
I enjoy creating a positive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing as learners. Whether your child needs help strengthening foundational skills, staying on track, or preparing for more advanced coursework, I am excited to support them on their math journey.

My lessons are personalized to meet each student's individual needs, goals, and learning style. I work with students in grades K–9, providing support with foundational math skills, homework help, test preparation, enrichment, and building overall math confidence.
A typical lesson may include:

I strive to make lessons engaging, supportive, and paced appropriately so students leave feeling more confident and capable in their mathematical abilities. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades but also to help them develop problem-solving skills and a positive mindset toward math.
