About Shore
I was trained in Pennsylvania, taught in Arizona and then moved to North Carolina to be closer to family. I'm a nerd I like video games, DnD, board games, etc. I tell all students I have no reason to lie to you, you will always get a truthful answer from me. Even if the truth is, "we won't talk about that here." Before I was a teacher I did a lot of various jobs, and they all needed math and/or the thinking skills attached to math.

Knowing how to get an answer is ok, but I want students to understand concepts beyond just the procedural steps or calculator tricks. This is to improve their critical thinking and problem solving skills, because math is not just about the numbers.
