About Yeno Van

I am a Licensed Professional Teacher with a degree in Secondary Education major in Biological Science and professional experience teaching Junior and Senior High School students. My background as an educator has allowed me to develop strong skills in lesson planning, classroom instruction, student assessment, and personalized learning support.

Throughout my teaching journey, I have helped students understand various areas of Science, including Biology, General Science, Earth Science, Chemistry, and Research. I am committed to creating a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, improving their skills, and gaining confidence in their abilities.

As a teacher, I value patience, professionalism, and continuous improvement. I understand that every student learns differently, which is why I adapt my teaching strategies based on each learner’s goals, strengths, and areas for improvement.

Beyond teaching scientific concepts, I aim to help students develop curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills that they can use beyond the classroom. My goal is not only to help students succeed academically but also to inspire them to appreciate Science and become lifelong learners.

With my educational background, teaching experience, and passion for helping students grow, I am dedicated to providing high-quality lessons that are engaging, organized, and focused on student success.

About the lesson

As a tutor, my goal is to make Science simple, meaningful, and connected to real-life experiences. I believe that students learn best when they understand concepts rather than simply memorize facts, so my teaching approach focuses on building strong foundations, developing curiosity, and improving critical thinking skills.

My teaching method is student-centered and interactive. I use clear explanations, visual materials, guided discussions, examples, practice questions, and real-world applications to help students understand even the most challenging topics. I adjust my teaching style based on each student’s needs, learning pace, and goals because every learner has a unique way of understanding Science.

A typical lesson begins with a quick review of the student’s current knowledge and learning objectives. I then introduce the topic step by step using simple explanations, diagrams, and examples. Throughout the lesson, I encourage questions and active participation to check understanding. We end with practice activities, summaries of key concepts, and strategies for improvement.

What sets me apart as a tutor is my professional background as a Licensed Science Teacher with experience teaching Junior and Senior High School students and mentoring research projects. Aside from helping students improve their grades, I aim to help them develop scientific thinking, confidence, and appreciation for learning.

My lessons are designed for middle school and high school students who need support in Biology, General Science, Earth Science, basic Chemistry, and Research. I can help learners who want to strengthen their understanding of Science topics, prepare for exams, improve academic performance, or receive guidance in scientific research and projects.

Learning Science does not have to be difficult — with the right approach, every student can discover that Science is interesting, understandable, and useful in everyday life.
