About Shai
Hello! I’m Shailesh Giri, a qualified Mathematics teacher with a BSc in Mathematics and a Government Teaching License from Nepal. I have over 4 years of experience teaching at the secondary level in government and private schools, helping students strengthen their mathematical foundation and develop confidence in problem-solving. Teaching mathematics is not just my profession — it’s my passion. I believe that every student can understand and enjoy math when concepts are explained clearly and connected to real-life examples. My Teaching Approach:
As a dedicated mathematics teacher with a BSc in Mathematics and a government teaching license from Nepal, I believe that every student can excel in math with the right guidance and environment. My teaching approach focuses on clarity, patience, and real-life application of mathematical concepts.
Teaching Techniques and Methods:
I use a concept-based and problem-solving approach rather than rote memorization. Each topic is explained through simple examples, visual aids, and step-by-step demonstrations. I also encourage students to ask questions freely, ensuring they truly understand before moving forward. I use digital tools, interactive exercises, and past exam papers to strengthen analytical and logical thinking.
Structure of a Typical Class:
Warm-up (5–10 minutes): Quick revision or mental math activity.
Concept Explanation (15–20 minutes): Clear explanation of the topic with examples.
Practice Session (20–25 minutes): Guided exercises and real exam-style questions.
Doubt Clearing (5–10 minutes): Open discussion of difficulties and recap of key ideas.
