About Pratikshya

Hi, I’m Pratikshya — a dedicated and patient math tutor who is passionate about helping young students build strong foundations and confidence in their learning.

I have an excellent academic background, having achieved top results in A-Levels, including being a Nepal topper in Economics. While my background is in higher-level subjects, I specialize in teaching younger students because I understand how important it is to get the basics right from an early stage. A strong foundation in math makes all the difference in a child’s future academic success.

I have experience working with school students and guiding them through concepts in a way that is simple, structured, and easy to follow. I understand that every child learns differently, so I take the time to adapt my teaching style to suit each student’s pace and level of understanding.

As a teacher, I am patient, supportive, and highly committed to my students’ progress. About the lesson

My name is Pratikshya, and my approach to teaching is focused on building strong fundamentals while making learning maths enjoyable and stress-free for young students.

I use simple, step-by-step teaching methods to ensure that every concept is clearly understood. Instead of encouraging memorisation, I focus on helping students understand why a method works. I use visuals, real-life examples, and interactive problem-solving to make lessons more engaging and easier to grasp, especially for younger learners.

My teaching technique is highly personalised. Every student learns at a different pace, so I adapt my explanations and practice level based on their understanding. I also focus on identifying weak areas early and working on them consistently to build confidence.

A typical class begins with a quick review of previous topics to reinforce learning. Then, I introduce new concepts in a simple and structured way, breaking them down into small, manageable steps. After that, we practise together through exercises and examples, followed by independent problem-solving to ensure the student can apply what they’ve learned. I also include regular revision and small tests to track progress.

What makes me different as a teacher is my patience and ability to connect with younger students. I create a supportive environment where children feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes. My focus is not just on completing the syllabus, but on helping students become confident and independent in maths.
