About Claire
I have been doing Maths mentoring sessions for individual Year 10-11 students at my school since September 2018, both in iGCSE Maths and OCR Additional Maths, who are predicted 9s this summer. I obtained all 9 and A* grades in my GCSEs last summer, achieving 95% in my Maths iGCSE exam, and am currently studying Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry at A-Level at City of London School for Girls. I have taken my Maths A-Level a year early, and am predicted A*s.

To each session, my students might bring questions given by their teachers that they've struggled with, which I go through with them, encouraging and prompting the students when needed. Otherwise, we go through relevant practice questions that I have brought with me, that might focus on target areas from the previous session. My knowledge of the GCSE syllabus and my own skills learnt from revision last year allows me to confidently explain the material to the students.
