I'm a motivated A-level student who takes my studies seriously and always aim to work to a high standard. I'm organised, reliable and committed to improving the understanding of the subjects that I study. I make sure my work is clear and well presented, as I know first impressions matter. About the lesson

I am an A-level student with recent GCSE experience, which allows me to teach GCSE content regarding history clearly, relevant, relatable and student-friendly. My approach in tutoring focuses on helping students understand topics simply, build confidence and develop exam skills needed to achieve top-end grades.

In lessons I break down GCSE content into manageable steps, using clear explanations and exam-style questions. I focus strongly on exam technique, including how to structure answers, use key terminology and avoid common mistakes. As I have recently sat these exams myself, I understand what students often find difficult and how mark schemes reward answers

A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, each session has a clear aim, including guided practice and finishing with feedback and confirmation of what the student has improved and what to work on next.

As a current A-level student, I have strong subject knowledge and a clear understanding of GCSE specifications and exam expectations, I use revision strategies and techniques that worked successfully for me and adapt them to suit each student's learning style

My lessons are suitable for GCSE students (years 9-11) who want help with understanding content, improving exam answers or building confidence ahead of assessments or exams

David helped me with my GCSE history he took me from a predicted 3 in my September mocks to an 8 in my GCSE’s . He is understanding and good at communicating, he knows the syllabus well and will help highlight where you drop marks.
