About Dylan

As a student myself, I believe I know what examiners will be looking for, and after having consistently achieved highly in class I know that I have secure understanding of the curriculum, and can pass that along to others. Alongside this, I have GCSE grades 9 in maths, physics, chemistry and biology, as well as an 8 in computer science.
I am diagnosed with ADHD and Autism and I am aware of the difficulties that neurodivergent students can face. I aim to cater to these differences so students will feel safe and comfortable in my lessons.
I know I will be a tutor who can tailor lessons and questions to suit the student, making the lessons engaging, enjoyable and informative, while inspiring a genuine interest and passion for the subject.

About the lesson

Maths and science lessons for students in year 1- year 11, both higher and foundation level.
Lessons between 30-90 minutes long with breaks taken at regular intervals.
Lessons will be available 4:30pm-9pm on weekdays, and 9am-8:30pm on weekends (specifics to be discussed when arranging).
Both the content and lesson approach can be altered to fit the students needs.
I aim to teach in a way that will be accessible to everyone. Lessons will go at the pace that is best suited for the student, and materials used will be emailed after the lesson so students can refer back to them if they so wish.
I will design an individual learning plan to best suit your personal needs and skills, and aim to see significant improvement quickly.
While I have not had any previous tutoring experience, I have two younger siblings, both of whom I regularly assist with school work.
I feel confident in my ability to teach curriculum to younger students, and help them achieve their very best, whilst still prioritising their mental health.
I can teach new content, revisit previous content with the student, and go through homework and/or tests with them, and I will run fun lessons where content will be taught and phrased in the best way for my students.
