About Sophie

Hi, I’m Sophie Inglis — a fully qualified Level 3 Personal Trainer based in Hackney, East London, and the founder of SI Studios. With a background in movement, performance, and holistic wellness, I specialise in helping women of all ages and abilities feel strong, capable, and confident in their bodies. My training style is supportive, approachable, and rooted in science-backed methods — no pressure, no judgement, just real progress at your pace. I became a Personal Trainer because I saw how intimidating and overwhelming traditional fitness spaces could be, especially for beginners. My mission is to change that. I’ve worked with clients from all walks of life — whether they’re taking their very first steps into fitness or rebuilding trust in their body after a setback. I take pride in offering a professional service with a personal touch. Every session is tailored to your goals, your lifestyle, and your energy on the day. You’ll be guided with care, expertise, and encouragement — so you leave each session feeling better than when you arrived. My sessions are designed for women who may feel intimidated by traditional gym environments, or who are just beginning their fitness journey and want guidance that’s kind, structured, and confidence-boosting. My methodology is centred around three pillars: 1. Movement That Feels Good – I focus on building strength, mobility and cardiovascular health through gentle progression. Whether it’s strength circuits, core work, low-impact conditioning or mobility flow, every session is personalised and adapted to your needs. 2. Mind-Body Connection – I help clients reconnect with their bodies, develop a positive mindset towards fitness, and build habits that support long-term health — not quick fixes. 3. Supportive Coaching – I aim to be your biggest cheerleader. I listen, motivate, and coach you without judgement, pressure or unrealistic expectations. Each personal training session is 1 hour, including warm-up, tailored workout, and a cool-down/stretch. Sessions can take place in local parks, private studio space, or at your home (if suitable). As well as in a traditional gym (some restrictions may be in place at some gyms so we will be able to discuss this during the consultation) - Level 3 Certified Personal Trainer - Performing Arts graduate with lifelong experience in movement and performance - Experience working with women of all ages and fitness backgrounds - Background in strength training, conditioning, and body confidence coaching I work exclusively with women, particularly those who: - Are beginners or returning to fitness after time away - Have struggled with gym anxiety or motivation - Want a safe, welcoming space to improve their health and wellbeing - Value a holistic, long-term approach over crash diets or aesthetics -Pregnant women and new mums!
