About Ahmed

Hello! I'm an Architecture graduate with a strong background in Mathematics and Engineering, and I offer personalised Maths tuition for GCSE Maths, A Level Maths and GCSE Further Maths students.

I achieved an A grade in A Level Mathematics and a Triple Distinction* in BTEC Engineering. I have also completed a degree in Architecture, where mathematics, geometry, problem-solving and technical thinking are an important part of the subject.

What makes my approach different is that I understand from personal experience that not everyone learns in the same way. I have learning disabilities and a hearing impairment myself, so throughout my education I have had to find ways of understanding and remembering information that work for me.

Because of this, I don't believe in simply giving students a formula and expecting them to memorise it. I aim to understand how each student learns best and then adapt my explanations accordingly.

Whether you are struggling with a particular topic, preparing for GCSE exams, studying Further Maths or simply want to become more confident in Mathematics, I can help you break difficult topics down into manageable steps.

My goal is not just to help you get the right answer, but to help you understand why the answer is correct.

About the lesson

I will ask the students questions and what they are struggling with. It will be a nice and calming experience so they won’t have to worry about meeting a tutor like me!

Then I will plan the lessons based on the answers given to me so my students will have a better experience. I know how it feels like by not being able to achieve something in maths and that is why I introduced unique strategies that helped me from not being great to an A achiever in maths!

Students/Parents will get fast responses from me as it is my priority to help students get the results they want.

My lessons are personalised around the way each student learns best. Having achieved an A in A Level Mathematics, a Triple Distinction* in BTEC Engineering and a degree in Architecture, I understand how important it is to properly understand a concept rather than simply memorise a formula.

I also have personal experience of learning differently, so I know that sometimes a concept needs to be explained in more than one way before it really clicks. I use clear, step-by-step explanations, worked examples, diagrams and practical applications to make difficult topics easier to understand.

Lessons are typically 60 minutes and can be adapted depending on the student's needs and level. I can support students studying GCSE Mathematics and GCSE Further Mathematics, whether they need help with specific topics, exam preparation, problem-solving or building their confidence.

My aim is to create a patient and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I want students to leave each lesson not only knowing how to solve a problem, but understanding why the method works.
