About Tara
I am a dedicated STEM tutor with a strong academic background in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics at A-Level. I focus on helping students build deep conceptual understanding rather than memorization, with a strong emphasis on exam technique and problem-solving skills.
Having consistently achieved high academic performance and gained experience explaining scientific concepts through peer support, lab-based learning, and formally tutoring students both online and in person, I understand how to break down complex topics into clear, structured explanations that are easy to follow.
My goal is to help students improve both their confidence and performance, whether they are preparing for IGCSE, A-Level exams, or strengthening their foundational understanding in science and mathematics.

My teaching approach focuses on building strong conceptual understanding first, rather than memorization. I break down complex STEM topics (especially Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics) into clear, step-by-step explanations using simple logic, diagrams, and real exam-style examples.
I adapt my teaching style depending on the student’s level and learning needs—whether that means simplifying foundational concepts for younger students or refining exam technique for A-Level and IGCSE students. I also emphasize active recall, structured problem-solving, and frequent exam-style practice to build confidence and improve performance under time pressure.
Where relevant, I connect abstract concepts to real-world applications to make learning more engaging and easier to remember.
I am a high-achieving A-Level student with a strong academic background in STEM subjects, including Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics. I have consistently performed strongly in examinations and have developed a solid understanding of exam techniques and mark scheme requirements. These are my results :
