About Nisa

Hi, I’m Nisa! I’m currently on a gap year, getting ready to start an Economics degree in London, having just finished my A-Levels in Maths, Economics, and Business. I have a genuine interest in the subjects, especially Economics, as it is a unique subject combining both essays and maths in one, with significant relevance in our lives.

I’m super easy to talk to, as well as being very patient, so I am happy to take the time to really polish off your understanding in each and every topic. I’ll make sure that lessons are far from feeling like a chore, so that you can enjoy our sessions while boosting your confidence in your knowledge of the subject.

About the lesson

I like to focus on understanding each topic, rather than just memorising facts and formulae. I’ll break topics down into steps that make sense, use real examples where I can, and adjust how I explain things depending on what works for the student, as some people need more visuals, while others just need to work through practice questions. I put a lot of focus on exam technique too, since knowing the content isn’t always enough; you need to know how to actually answer the question to get the marks.

Lessons usually run 1-2 hours. That’s enough time to really get into a topic properly, work through some questions together, and clear up anything that’s not quite sticking, without it feeling rushed.

I just finished my A-levels in Maths, Economics, and Business with strong grades, and I’m now in a gap year before starting an Economics degree in London. As I’ve only just done these exams myself, the GCSE and A-level content is still really fresh, and I know exactly what examiners are looking for.

I teach GCSE and A-level Maths, Business, and Economics, plus GCSE English. Happy to work with anyone from students who just want a confidence boost to those pushing for the top grades.
