About Jomi
I have a genuine passion for English Literature and enjoy helping students explore different interpretations with confidence and curiosity. I recognise that no two students learn in the same way, so I adapt my teaching approach to suit each individual. I create a calm, supportive learning environment where students are never rushed and feel comfortable asking questions. I am patient, organised, and committed to supporting learning at every step, while also helping GCSE students develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed in exams.

My lessons are calm, supportive, and carefully tailored to each student’s needs and confidence level. I focus on building strong foundations in English and History, while helping GCSE students develop clear essay structure, analysis skills, and exam technique. Lessons typically last 60 minutes and include guided practice and personalised feedback. I achieved a grade 9 in GCSE History and an 8 in GCSE English Literature, and have experience tutoring 11+ English. I teach students from Reception level through to GCSE, adapting my approach to suit every learner.
