About Igor

My journey has been long but functional to the result obtained. I spent my Erasmus year in an American college, thus having the opportunity to deepen their colloquial expressions. When I returned to Italy, I was hired by the Wall Street Institute to give classes mostly for firms. I found several students who often preferred my approach compared to the authoritative mother tongue teachers who could not grasp the typical Italian problems in learning a foreign language But being Italian and having overcome them, it was easier for me to help them. I then had the opportunity to be hired in an English company. For four years I have been able to appreciate their ways of saying so different from the American ones. Attending the evening classes at the university I have obtained the CAE (Certificate in Advanced English, C1) as evidence of my excellent lexical mastery. When I returned to my homeland I maintained an excellent level both for the work, and for the subtitled films and books in the original language that I read. My rate is 15 € / h for everyone.

About the lesson

During my Erasmus year I lived for a year in an American college, deepening their idiomatic expressions. Then I lived for four years in England, deepening their ways of speaking. Result: I know both languages, English vs American. I then obtained the CAE finding myself very well with the materials sponsored by the University of Cambridge. But I have a lot more extra material, from subtitled films, to songs, to books to meet the needs of the student because everyone has his own story. Once the student's oral and written level has been verified, I proceed to plan a strategy to achieve the objectives set within the agreed timeframe.
