I am a lecturer at FE college in maths, also functional skills english, sport and sciences. Have a lot of experience, particular with higher needs students. I concentrate on developing a 'can do' attitude trying to build confidence in subjects being taught

I approach each part of the curriculum by trying to get the student to find a relevant use for it that may help them in their journey to adulthood. For instance someone interested in joining the forces could use bearings as map reading can be a life saver
