About Katharina
I graduated from the Faculty of Humanities (MA, Philipps-Universität Marburg) in English, French and Polish literature and language in 2003. I worked for seven years at a translation company as a project coordinator and editor. During this period, I discovered that my passion is in education. As my native language is German, the choice for the teacher training course at the University of Amsterdam was quickly made. I followed pedagogical and didactic courses and was educated in German language and literature studies. Cultural and historical aspects of contemporary Germany were also highlighted during my studies.

Perfect! Mijn dochter heeft heel veel aan de lessen van Katharina gehad. Ze kon goed en helder uitleggen en was geduldig. Mijn dochter voelde zich erg op haar gemak bij Katharina. We spraken in de bibliotheek af en dat werkte goed. Ik zou Katharina zeker aanraden!
