About Madhurima

I am currently working as a lecturer in college. I have done my postgraduation from University of Calcutta with first class marks. I also give private tuitions to students.

About the lesson

I am equally comfortable in teaching all the boards (ICSE, CBSE, WB) and both the mediums (English and Bengali).
My concept of teaching: Teaching has always been my passion and it can also be considered as my hobby. For me teaching is a fulfilling challenge for stimulating the students to become lifelong learners. Being an experienced person in this field, I believe I can impart genuine and proper education to my students and train them in the required subjects with utmost care and concern for achieving the educational goals.
My teaching perspective: I strongly believe that knowing the concept of a particular chapter is extremely necessary in order to understand the subject. A building will definitely collapse in the near future if the foundation is not strong enough even if it looks beautiful from outside. In the same way mugging up the chapters without proper understanding of the subject will not help the student in the long run. So my aim is to make my students understand the concepts of each and every chapter with 100% clarity. Being a student of Calcutta University I believe in the proper advancement and enrichment of knowledge which will eventually lead to a better future of our education system. I like seeing my students being able to grasp subjects and understand what I am teaching them. I believe as a teacher my success lies in the success of our students.
My Strengths as a teacher: I have a strong ability to explain any tough chapters in easy and student friendly manner. I know the merit of each student is different so I am flexible enough to adapt different teaching methodologies to cater to the specific needs of each and every student. In today’s world everything is dynamic. New concepts and technologies are emerging almost on a daily basis. I am a confident learner and possess the capability to adapt to any new emerging concepts of studies as well as responsibilities. I can create a very comfortable and congenial learning environment for my students with the help of my interpersonal communication skills. Moreover I am punctual and regular so I can complete the assignments and the syllabus of the students within stipulated time.
My teaching procedure: I believe that a particular chapter can be best explained with the help of a proper example preferably from our daily life. So I follow the same. I always try to teach in an interesting manner so that my students don’t ever lose interest in the subject. I describe each and every steps of a particular chapter explicitly. I give my student enough scope for practice by providing them with worksheets and study materials on a regular basis. I arrange mock tests for them so that they can prepare themselves well for the examination. I complete the syllabus before time to keep enough time for revision.
Beyond teaching: A teacher has a lot more responsibilities than teaching. I always try to become the friend, philosopher and guide of the students. I want to become their true mentor. I interact with them personally to understand their problems and I try to solve them genuinely. I inspire them to become an established person in future with strong ethics and morality. Moreover for the benefits of my student I also communicate with their parents and keep them informed of their child
So, this is all about me and I really wish to contribute to our society as a teacher and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our ‘future citizens’.
