About Ipsa

Hi, I am a student like yourself, just a few years ahead in the line. I am currently pursuing my master's and working towards becoming a therapist. I graduated with a BSc. Psychology (hons.) from Christ University, Delhi NCR in 2024 and am currently pursuing an MSc. in Clinical Psychology. I also have experience in research as well as multiple internships. Psychological concepts have always been super interesting to me and not only do I enjoy sharing it with others, I also learn better by teaching. I will be simplifying concepts to make them easy to understand and would encourage lots of insight and discussions. From abnormal psychology to basic everyday phenomenon- you can ask me anything related to psychology or a career in the field, and I shall provide to the best of my abilities. I believe in carrying forward what I learn through my classes, personal research and work experience and teaching is the best way to do so.

About the lesson

Let's say your friend isn't texting you back and that is making you very anxious. What do you do? a) You spam them with loads of worried texts b) You avoid them and stop talking to them when they do text back c) You drop them a text saying that you are waiting for them to get back and continue doing other activities you had in your day These are basically what the attachment theory developed by John Bowlby and Mary Ainsworth talks about. a) Anxious attachment b) Avoidant attachment c) Secure attachment To learn about the fourth type and much more in a relatable, example-focused, experiential way, Come to Class ;)
