About Gabriel

I am a Quality Assurance Engineer, but I am also a person that likes to teach, guide and provide a different view of the things.

I was a University professor for 6 years and I was able to connect with different people and teach them how to implement technology in a classroom using a variety of educative methodologies like learning by doing, flipped lesson and guided-lessons in the classroom.

I believe we all have different ways to learn and it is important to discover them to connect and really understand the "why" of the things.

In my free time I like to bake, and as a latino I like to try different flavors and add colors to my pastries.

We learn with everything and every day we learn something new, that makes our life significant.

About the lesson

My approach to instruction is based on the belief that learning should be engaging, personalized, and effective. I incorporate various teaching techniques, including interactive lessons, real-world applications, and multimedia resources to create a dynamic and enjoyable learning experience. My methodology promotes active participation, critical thinking, and practical language usage. I am committed to fostering a supportive and encouraging environment where students can feel confident in their language skills and continuously progress.

My typical lesson plan is structured to ensure comprehensive language acquisition. Some elements are:
1. Introduction and Warm-up: We start with a brief conversation or engaging activity to set the tone for the lesson.
2. Vocabulary and Grammar: I introduce new vocabulary and grammar concepts, using contextual examples and interactive exercises.
3. Reading and Comprehension: We explore texts, articles, or stories in the target language, followed by comprehension questions and discussions.
4. Listening and Speaking: I integrate listening exercises and speaking practice to enhance conversational skills.
5. Writing and Expression: Students have opportunities to practice writing skills through creative and practical assignments.
6. Cultural Insights: I provide cultural context to help students understand the language in its cultural and social dimensions.
7. Feedback and Assessment: Each lesson includes constructive feedback and assessments to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement.

What sets me apart as a tutor is my tireless commitment to the success of my students. I believe in basing my teaching approach to meet the unique goals and learning styles of each individual. My adaptability, patience, and strong communication skills foster a positive and productive learning environment. Additionally, my incorporation of learning-by-doing methodology helps the students to learn how to think not to repeat.
