About Marie-Claire
For many years I lived abroad, thus becoming fluent in five languages and learning so much about different cultures. I am an inspired teacher and storyteller who loves to share knowledge and creativity. After having worked in language schools teaching mainly adults I switched to primarily teaching children, through stories, songs, puppetry and creative activities. I am a certified teacher (CELTA Cambridge certificate) specialized in teaching children (International House course, teaching Young Learners)

Throughout the years I learned skills and methods to help students acquire new words and master the new language. But this is also possible whilst having fun and being creative. Stories, images and songs provide a great context to make language come alive, for children but also grown-ups. My lessons are student-centered: I adapt to what you already know and are interested in.
