About Theo
I am a professional ESL tutor with 7 years of teaching experience, working with students from beginner to advanced levels. Over the course of my career, I have guided approximately 150 to 200 learners in improving their English communication skills for academic, professional, and personal purposes.
My teaching philosophy is built on personalized learning. I understand that every student learns differently, so I take time to evaluate individual strengths, weaknesses, and goals. Based on this, I create customized lesson plans that focus on building practical communication skills alongside strong grammar and vocabulary knowledge.
I place great importance on developing confidence in speaking. My classes include interactive discussions, real-life conversation practice, listening exercises, and guided writing tasks. I make lessons engaging and easy to understand by using examples that students can relate to.
One of my unique strengths is my calm, supportive teaching approach. I encourage students to speak freely without fear of making mistakes. I offer regular feedback and motivation to help them stay focused and confident. My ability to adjust teaching methods based on student progress has helped many learners achieve noticeable improvement.
With clear communication, patience, and dedication, I continue to strive for excellence in teaching and aim to help every student succeed in mastering the English language.

My ESL teaching methodology is based on the core values of Flexibility, Empathy, Compassion, Communication, and Collaboration. I believe that language learning should be stress-free, engaging, and personalized. Every student learns differently, and I adapt my lessons to suit their pace, learning style, and personal goals.
Flexibility allows me to modify lessons for beginners, intermediate, and advanced learners. I balance grammar, vocabulary, speaking, listening, reading, and writing in a natural way through conversations, interactive tasks, and real-life examples. Empathy and compassion help me understand each learner’s struggles and create a supportive classroom atmosphere.
I maintain strong communication by explaining concepts clearly and encouraging open discussion. Students are motivated to ask questions without fear of judgment. Collaboration plays a major role in my teaching, as I work with students to plan lessons, track progress, and achieve measurable language goals.
Along with ESL, I also teach related subjects such as pronunciation training, spoken English, professional communication, and basic writing skills. My ultimate goal is to help students communicate confidently and independently in both personal and professional settings.
