About Ayse

Hi Everyone,

I am a professional web developer and a digital marketer and have passion transferring digital skills to people who would like to acquire new skills and achieve their personal or business goals.

Prior to my career working as self-employed, I had been working fulltime in Financial sector more than 15 years and after I quit, I embarked on a journey to make a career change where I could be location independent and be my own boss.

I started acquiring graphic and web design skills while I was working full time. Then I started building website for family and friends to improve my skills. After I completed my trainings and built my portfolio, I quit my job and started my own business as a Web Designer and Digital Marketer.

I am holding Bachelor Degrees in Econometrics and Computing, MBA degree in E-Business and Masters Degree in Digital Marketing. As you can see, I am passionate about learning new things and transferring those skills to my students.

In addition to technical skills, I’d love to transfer my motivation and inspiration to you if you are enthusiastic about starting a new career or launching your own business.

About the lesson

We're living in a digital world and the new normal has proved us that acquiring digital skills is more important than ever. So, in this course I'll teach you everything about designing a website with Wordpress. You don't need to have a prior knowledge or be tech savvy to attend to this course, a computer and an internet connection would do.
This is a 4 Weeks Course with 1 hour daily sessions. ( Excluding weekends) Depending on your availability, you can speed up your learning process by doing 2 hours per day and become Zero To Hero within 2 weeks.

FAQs:
Do I need a domain name to start learning Wordpress?

No, you don’t need to have a domain name to start building your website. I’ll provide you a temporary hosting space where you can practice what you’ve learnt with my training sessions. When you purchase a domain, you can always map your domain name with your hosting space by updating your server settings. I can help you if you don’t know how to do that.

Do I need a hosting space to start building Wordpress?

Essentially, you don’t. You can always use your own computer like a hosting server and start building your website. However, this would be okay for learning purposes but if you would like to have an online presence, I would recommend you to have a hosting space. As you know, you don’t need to worry about this, as you’ll have a hosting space to practice your skills. If you’d like to keep your hosting space after a year, I can provide you a subscription plan.

How many hours are required to feel like I can design professional websites?

When you complete all the lessons in the curriculum, you’ll have spent 20 hours of learning time for this course. This will be a perfect foundation to start designing your websites with Wordpress. However, I’d strongly recommend practising by actually designing your sample websites. With this approach, you’ll improve your skills and start building your portfolio to show when people ask your previous work.
When you finish this course you can attend my bootcamp sessions to practice the design of real life examples. I can also customise it according to your specific needs.

Common Misconceptions:

I need to have a programming background or coding experience to learn building a website.

Absolutely not!. You don’t need any prior knowledge or skill to become a website developer. All you need is a computer with internet connection.

I need to have a special software to build a website

No, you only need a computer with internet connection and a web browser to start learning and practice your skills.

I don’t have a portfolio, there is no way I can find a client.

With this course, I’ll give you tricks and tips on how you could start building your portfolio and acquiring clients without a portfolio.
