About Alex

I am an experienced ESL tutor with a Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature, committed to helping students master English with confidence, accuracy, and fluency. I have taught learners of all ages and levels, from beginners to advanced speakers, and from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. My lessons focus on all four key language skills—speaking, listening, reading, and writing—while also emphasising vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation in context. I design engaging, interactive, and practical lessons that include real-life scenarios, multimedia resources, authentic texts, and hands-on exercises to make learning both effective and enjoyable.

Each lesson is personalised according to the student’s goals, learning style, and pace, whether the objective is improving conversational fluency, academic performance, business communication, or writing proficiency. About the lesson

My ESL lessons are structured to improve fluency, comprehension, and confidence in English. Each session begins with a warm-up and review of previous material. We focus on speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. Vocabulary development is incorporated through conversation, stories, and exercises. Grammar is explained in simple terms and reinforced with practice. Listening skills are enhanced using dialogues, podcasts, and videos. Speaking exercises include pronunciation, role-play, and discussions. Reading comprehension is developed through articles, stories, and texts. Writing sessions focus on sentence formation, paragraph writing, and creative exercises. Lessons are interactive, encouraging active participation and questions.

Homework and practice activities reinforce concepts between lessons. I provide personalised feedback and track progress consistently. Lessons adapt to individual learning styles and goals. My goal is to make English learning engaging, practical, and effective. Students leave each lesson confident, fluent, and motivated.
