About Jenny

Hi everyone, I’m Jenny!
I’m a passionate violin, VCE Music Analysis and music theory teacher with over four years of experience. I currently teach 18 students, helping them progress towards their individual musical goals. I’ve taught students of all ages and skill levels — from those preparing for AMEB exams and VCE assessments to those simply learning to play their favourite songs for fun. My goal is to share my experience and love for music while guiding you through your own unique musical journey.

In 2023, I achieved a perfect score (RAW 50) in VCE Music Repertoire Performance, placing me in the top 0.1% of students. I also hold an LMusA qualification and have performed with the Australian Youth Orchestra and the Monash Academy Orchestra. My teaching style is flexible and tailored, focusing on strong technical foundations for younger students and expressive interpretation for advanced learners.

-VCE Music Repertoire Performance – RAW 50 (2023)
- LMusA Qualification (2025)
- Member, Australian Youth Orchestra (2022)
- Member, Monash Academy Orchestra (2025)
- 4+ years of teaching experience

About the lesson

I teach students of all ages and abilities — from those preparing for AMEB exams and VCE assessments to those learning simply to play the songs they love. My lessons run for 45 minutes to 1 hour, offering focused, personalised guidance. I help students develop strong technique and explore various interpretations to make their performances shine.

Online lessons are also available and follow the same structure as in-person classes, with weekly notes and feedback sent to both students and parents.
