About Dan

I have over 8 years of experience as a violin tutor and hold a Bachelor of Science in Orchestral Studies, where I served as a Violin Section Leader. I’m passionate about blending traditional violin skills with modern technology to help my students grow. I use tools like slow-down apps, DAWs, MIDI notation, and video feedback to help you analyze and refine your playing in detail. This approach is especially helpful for those interested in recording violin parts for original songs or covers. I love teaching genres like Jazz Violin, Rock Strings, and Indie Folk, bringing a fresh and creative vibe to lessons. Improvisation is one of my strengths, and I create custom backing tracks tailored to your style and goals. My teaching style is interactive and focused on helping you find your unique musical voice. Whether you’re a beginner or advanced player, I’m here to support your journey. Together, we’ll explore new sounds and techniques that make violin playing exciting and modern. About the lesson
