About Haru

I’m Haru, a current undergraduate student at the University of California, Berkeley, pursuing a simultaneous degree in Society & Environment and Social Welfare with a minor in Global Poverty & Practice. As a non-native English speaker who achieved a TOEFL score of 110—placing me in the top 8% of test-takers worldwide—I understand both the challenges and the strategies required to master the test. My academic background at one of the world’s leading universities has strengthened my skills in critical thinking, academic writing, and public speaking. I bring this experience directly into my teaching, providing students with structured guidance, practical strategies, and the confidence to perform at their best. I believe that every student has the ability to excel when they receive clear explanations, targeted practice, and consistent encouragement.
