About Orit
Hi! I’m Orit, a native Spanish speaker from Peru and a professional English–Spanish medical interpreter. Working daily between both languages has taught me how to communicate clearly, accurately, and naturally, even when explaining complex ideas.
I am patient, friendly, and genuinely enjoy helping others feel more confident when speaking Spanish. I understand that learning a language can feel intimidating, so I create a comfortable and supportive environment where mistakes are simply part of the process. My lessons are personalized, practical, and adapted to your goals, interests, and learning pace.

My teaching method is practical, personalized, and focused on real-life communication. I adapt each lesson to the student’s level, interests, and goals, combining conversation, vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, and listening practice. I explain concepts clearly in English when necessary and use natural examples so students can understand how Spanish is actually spoken in everyday situations.
A typical lesson begins with a short conversation or review of what we covered previously. We then introduce a new topic through useful vocabulary, expressions, or a specific grammar point. The student practices through guided conversations, role-playing, short readings, and real-life scenarios. At the end, we review the main points, correct common mistakes, and set a simple goal for the next lesson.
What sets me apart is that I am a native Spanish speaker from Peru and a professional English–Spanish medical interpreter. My work requires me to communicate accurately and clearly between both languages, which helps me understand the challenges English speakers face when learning Spanish. I am patient, friendly, and attentive, and I want my students to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and speaking without fear.
My lessons are ideal for beginner and intermediate students, travelers, professionals, and anyone who wants to improve their conversational Spanish.
