About Yasmine

Hi! I’m Yassmine, a recent Statistics graduate from the University of Glasgow with an international and multilingual background. I speak Spanish, English, French and Arabic, so languages have always been a big part of my life.
Having learnt and used different languages myself, I understand both the exciting and frustrating parts of becoming comfortable in another language. That’s one of the reasons I enjoy teaching: I want to help students reach the point where they can actually communicate confidently rather than worrying about speaking perfectly.
I’m friendly, patient and adaptable, and I enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds. Whether you’re learning Spanish for everyday conversations, travel, studies, work or simply because you love the language, I’d be happy to help you progress at your own pace.

About the lesson

My Spanish lessons are practical, personalised and focused on helping you feel confident using the language in real conversations. I adapt every lesson to your level and goals, whether you are starting from the basics, improving your conversational Spanish, preparing for travel, or simply wanting to become more fluent.
I believe the best way to learn a language is by actually using it, so my lessons combine conversation, vocabulary, pronunciation and grammar in a natural way rather than simply memorising rules. We can use everyday situations, interactive activities and topics that genuinely interest you to make the lessons engaging and useful.
As a multilingual speaker, I understand the challenges of learning and switching between languages. I can explain concepts in English or Arabic when needed, which can be especially helpful for beginners.
Lessons are typically one hour and are suitable for beginners and intermediate learners of different ages. Most importantly, I want my lessons to be a comfortable space where you can speak, make mistakes, ask questions and gradually build confidence in Spanish.
