About Vanessa
I am Vanessa, a native Spanish educator from Colombia currently based in Georgia, USA.
I am a Spanish philologist with more than 15 years of experience in secondary, university, adult, and professional education.
I hold a Master’s Degree in Educational Technology Management, a Postgraduate Specialization in Educational Communication, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Philology and Languages with a concentration in Spanish Philology.
My professional experience includes teaching Spanish language and literature, linguistics, semiotics, academic and professional writing, oral communication, research methodology, discourse analysis, media literacy, and educational technology.
I have worked as a university lecturer, national teacher trainer, pedagogical mentor, curriculum designer, educational technology consultant, and corporate trainer.
Throughout my career, I have taught secondary and university students, trained educators across multiple regions of Colombia, supported teachers and school leaders, and delivered workplace training for adults in the United States.
I have also designed and led award-winning educommunication projects involving school radio, film, digital journalism, storytelling, and multimedia production. These experiences strengthened my belief that language is more than grammar and vocabulary: it is a powerful tool for thinking, expressing identity, connecting with others, and navigating real-life situations.
I am the creator of EduComVoz+IE, a personalized Spanish-language methodology that integrates linguistic development, emotional confidence, authentic communication, professional performance, culture, educational technology, and Educommunication.
My purpose is to help every learner Lead their Voice and Communicate in Spanish with Impact and Confidence.

My personalized lessons help you speak, understand, read, and write Spanish through EduComVoz+IE, a communication-centered methodology that transforms language learning into practical, visual, meaningful, and confidence-building experiences.
Your learning journey begins with an assessment of your current level, communication goals, interests, profession, learning preferences, and pace. Based on this information, I design a personalized path for conversational, academic, cultural, or workplace Spanish.
Lessons may focus on Spanish for beginners, conversation, pronunciation, listening comprehension, grammar and vocabulary in context, reading, writing, Spanish 1 and Spanish 2 academic support, university Spanish, literature, discourse analysis, and professional or workplace communication.
My instruction is aligned with ACTFL and CEFR proficiency principles and incorporates OPI-informed communicative tasks. You will not learn through memorization alone: you will understand how Spanish works and learn to use it confidently in meaningful situations.
