About Rafa

One of the things that motivates me the most and I like is seeing how many students over the years have had the ability to improve and master a new language. I have had the opportunity to teach a wide range of people, from children to adults, to professionals in a wide variety of sectors. From a student who overcame a mental barrier that allowed her to start communicating with her American colleagues at school, to helping a famous film director prepare for interviews at international film festivals, to a blind student who managed to learn the language from scratch, solely through conversation, I have to say that I am very proud of the accomplishments of many of my students.

Teaching online is something new for me, but I like new challenges and this one promises to be really exciting!

About the lesson

For everyone who likes to travel and discover the world, here is a method that will combine your language learning, fascinating facts about the world and your creativity.

I follow a project-based learning approach. It means that the student will not assume a passive role, but an interactive one, which requires the student to be creative and willing to try new things.

My classes are mainly based on listening and conversation, but there is always a plan. They are structured classes in which we will always have a clear objective that always gives the student greater motivation and confidence.

You will have class with a certified teacher, who has studied at UC Berkeley and has more than ten years of experience in language teaching and is passionate about always continuing to learn, as well as helping others improve.

I will help you correct your mistakes and when necessary I will give you simple grammar explanations that will help you understand how to correct them. You will also practice pronunciation and all the classes you will learn new vocabulary that you will then put into practice.

We will be in contact via email and there will be continuous monitoring and evaluation.

Learning is a process and it is not easy, and it is worth looking for a good teacher to guide you, motivate you and give you confidence because that can help you dramatically improve your Spanish.

Hablo, leo, escribo y traduzco de español a inglés y viceversa.
Ahora la clase es de 90 minutos a la semana.
Os recomiendo contacteis con él, no solo por lo buen profesor que es y su manera de enseñar, que es fantástica, sino tambien por lo qran persona que es.

Details

For those with an advanced level of Spanish, it is possible to break the classes into 30-minute bites and that's fine too. The same rates apply.
I don't recommend it for beginner and intermediate levels, because we need time to explain things and make sure they are clear. Half an hour can go by very quickly, and there is no point in rushing or leaving things unfinished.
I do not accept cancellations on the same day. Always cancel at least one day in advance.
