About Koen

I am an alumnus of the Conservatory of Music in Enschede and have been teaching piano lessons and music production for 5 years.

I have worked in Los Angeles for Cavalry Music, a trailer music publisher, working for trailers of various films, such as Avatar: The Way of Water, Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker, 1917, and Rings of Power. In 2021, I was nominated for a Buma Award, an award for Dutch media composers.

About the lesson

Using the color blocks method, anyone can learn to play the piano! You don't need to learn notes or chords, you just follow patterns that I have recorded on video beforehand. Perfect for beginners

Furthermore, as a conservatory alumnus, I have a wide range of information, theory and practical skills with which we can get started. In doing so, the student's needs remain the focus.
