About Rovel
Hi! I’m Rovel Persaud, a Biochemistry and Genetics graduate currently pursuing my Master of Science in Management (Business Analytics) at Ivey Business School. My academic journey bridges the worlds of science and data — giving me a unique perspective on how to teach complex ideas in a clear, structured, and engaging way. I’ve always enjoyed helping students find confidence in subjects like math, chemistry, and biology, especially when those topics feel intimidating. My background in the sciences taught me how to think critically and problem-solve methodically, while my analytics training helps me bring logic, visualization, and real-world relevance into every lesson. As a tutor, I’m known for being patient, reliable, and approachable. I create an encouraging space where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. My goal is to help every student build a strong foundation, understand the why behind the material, and develop lasting confidence — whether they’re catching up or aiming for top marks.
