  • 1) How long have you been interested in the field of well-being and are you practicing?

    Since the age of 6, I have had lived experience of applying natural solutions such as positive affirmations, mantras, and optimistic thinking.

    My interest in the field of wellbeing spans over 30 years, I've always been seeking for powerful and practical solutions for my pain and problems.

    My transformative experience of having life coaching sessions revolutionized my past life from feeling miserable, broken, and fuelled by drama to one of purpose, peace and possibilities.

    My practice as a life coach was born over 7 years ago-

    I've learnt from the school of hard knocks as well as from undertaking several certifications in the areas of meditation, stress and anger management and life coaching and hypnotherapy.

    And now, I'm obsessed with helping others in my role of intuitive stress, anger and life transformation artist.

    Doctor Maya Angelou inspired me via her famous quote

    "When you learn, teach. When you get, give"

    I thought that I had no one to turn to during my then lonely struggles and I am dedicated to help others so that they don't feel as alone as I felt.

    By the way, you're not alone and you're never alone.

  • 3) Could you provide some instant top tips to help us feel good in body and mind?

    Here are 7 game changing tips that help me and my clients to feel good in our bodies and minds:

    1) Breath work and other stress management techniques- Breathing is the most important function. I swear by this as it's a major bodily function that controls so much, from your mind to your body's reactions.

    2) Journaling- This is like a brain break, a holiday for your mind. I have created empowerment journals with useful prompts for myself, my clients and others on my website.

    3) Nature- Being in nature refreshes your mind, strengthens your body and enriches your soul.

    4) Prayer, meditation and compassionate self-talk- Encourage yourself with as much care like you would small child or a much loved friend.

    5) Dopamine Dressing- Simple, wear more colour and use makeup ( if make up helps you to feel more empowered)

    6) Dancing Daily- Even if you dance badly, party with yourself for that daily dose of endorphins.

    7) Radical, compassionate self-forgiveness- Be gentle with yourself.
  • 4) How would you describe your method as a practitioner?

    I use natural, scientifically proven, practical, powerful yet simple methods to rewire clients thinking and bring about changes. Along with through the guidance of my intuition developed through experiences which prevents judgement and lessens my ego.

    Results Include:

  • 5) With experience, are there things you have learned or unlearned about yourself or others?

    I have learnt to be more patient, encouraging and compassionate with myself.

    It's easier to treat those we love with compassion but not always ourselves.

    Yet treating yourself like a precious object keeps you strong.

    I have unlearnt to be reactive and have learnt to respond instead of having angry outbursts or heated reactions.
  • 6) Do you have a role model, a person who really inspired you?

    I have so many role models but my top 3 are:

    - My preschool teacher, she helped me to develop my interest in self-compassion when I was being bullied at the age of 6.

    Thanks to her, I learnt the use of affirmations and mantras.

    - Another mentor who consistently challenged me to use my intuition and taught me that intuition is a super power.

    - Doctor Maya Angelou- She courageously travelled the world, campaigned for civil rights, taking risks facing 'isms' and challenges with sensational strength, resilience and resourcefulness.

    Her books, and interviews teach so many empowering lessons, there's a bit of Maya Angelou in all of us.

    That power lies within you too, even if you feel you haven't illuminated it as yet.
  • 7) How do you personally relax; what methods work for you?

    My relaxation methods that work for me:

    - Music -Binaural beats, Beethoven, Bob Marley to Bugzy Malone

    Because raising my vibrational frequency makes life even more fun.

    - Breath work- Breath is life, you can control your breath and it can also control you.

    I'll certainly teach you more about this in our sessions.

    - Nature- Nature is healing for me.

    - Journaling using my guided journals helps free my mind.

    - Cold water therapy- Increases my energy levels also proven by researchers to help with pain, from PMS to menopause and even depression.

    - Make up, art, cooking.

    - Reading- I operate a book club for personal development of women

    - Gratitude- Has helped me to pull myself through the deepest, darkest, pits.

    I continue to learn every day, especially from my clients who inspire and teach me that I am also stronger and more resilient than I think.

    You don't need to be a victim- even if it's only in your mind.
