About Darci

Hey everyone!
My name is Darci, I’m a native French speaker who recently moved back to the UK after spending most of my life in South West France. I’m offering online French lessons for anyone who’d like to learn or improve their French.
I was lucky enough to learn French from a young age, but I also understand how challenging learning a new language can be, especially later in life. I saw this first-hand when my family moved to France and my parents and older siblings had to learn from scratch. Because of this, I really value a patient, encouraging approach.
My lessons focus on real, conversational French, rather than classroom style learning. You’ll set the pace of our sessions so they never feel daunting and always stay engaging. We’ll work together on pronunciation, building useful vocabulary, and anything specific you’d like to focus on.
Lessons are relaxed, friendly, and confidence-boosting, which I’ve found is often the biggest barrier when learning a language. Whether you’re moving to France, travelling there, or simply want to feel more comfortable speaking French, please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions. About the lesson

I grew up in the French countryside and completed all my schooling there.
Lessons with me are relaxed and friendly, with a focus on real French you’ll actually use, no textbooks or rigid rules. We’ll chat about everyday life, travel, or anything that interests you, so you can practise speaking naturally and build confidence along the way.
I gently support you with pronunciation, useful phrases, and vocabulary as we go. I like to let students guide the conversation so every session is meaningful and enjoyable. Lessons usually last 45–60 minutes, but I’m happy to adjust depending on what works best for you.
I bring patience, kindness, and encouragement to every lesson, and my sessions are suitable for all ages and levels whether you’re just starting out, preparing for travel, or simply want to feel more comfortable speaking French in everyday situations.
