Could not recommend learning with Alaina more highly. She's enthusiastic, committed and fun! Learning languages can be a slow and painful process... the right teacher and the right support makes all the difference.

Alaina is someone who has a super secret teaching weapon! Its so subtle and usually goes unnoticed. Its only once you've reach the very end of the conversation that you realize youre leaving this exchange a little bit wiser. Its always really easy to have a conversation with her. What most teacher aspire to hold and often fail to keep, she's mastered it....patience!

She makes learning fun. It doesn't matter if we talk about life's big questions or a sorbet flavor they should come up with, there's somehow a new perspective I hadn't thought of on my own that pops up. I often end up understanding my thoughts and opinions with more confidence.

Having had the opportunity to be friends for many years, I can say with confidence that, anyone lucky enough to have alaina by their side through their learning journey will benefit from someone who loves to help and bring people up to their full potential. What's amazing to see is that it will fulfill her, just as much as the learner.

Alaina is a fantastic person. Patient and kind. Her French is impeccable and her English is better than that of a native.

First off, she is a trustworthy person and is greatly respected by her peers as well as by teens and children. She is a self-starter and a natural leader, popular, very alert and capable in many situations, having worked as a teacher in the remote far north of Canada and has traveled extensively. Her French is impeccable and she speaks it with such ease that it is difficult to discern whether her background is French or English. I have seen her teach and she is capable of making very real and genuine bonds with her charges. I fully recommend her without any hesitation.
