About Maya
I am a Python tutor with 10 years of experience helping students master programming logic with confidence. I teach Python by turning complex ideas into simple steps. My lessons begin with the building blocks: variables, data types, and basic logic. We move at a steady pace, with lots of hands-on coding.
I help students understand the structure of code, from loops to functions and beyond. They don’t just memorize—they understand. With regular practice and feedback, they become confident coders.
I break down every topic into small, manageable chunks, even when it comes to harder topics like object-oriented programming or file operations. Students never feel lost because I guide them through each step.
We often work on mini-projects that solve real-world problems. I love helping science-focused students use Python to analyze environmental data or marine observations. This makes the learning meaningful.
