About Charlene

Bachelor of Arts in Education. Review authors' books for grammar and punctuation. Write book reviews. Write genealogy research projects. Like working one-on-one to improve students' skills. Raised five children and helped them all with writing skills needed for school. Have completed several college-level writing courses in creative writing, poetry, family history writing, etc. Like to use this material to help develop good thinking as well as writing.

About the lesson

I get to know the student and their particular writing style and goals. What is it they want to accomplish with their writing? Start with basic grammar, review different styles, and practice writing. Would like to work with beginners or younger students who need some extra help. Helping five children of my own, I have lots of patience and a real desire to keep writing a part of today's education. Also enjoy challenging adults who want to improve writing in English as a second language. Like the variety of college writing and helping college students with grammar and various paper structures.
