About Danielle

I have been tutoring computer science and programming online for 5 years and I take genuine pride in helping students build coding skills that feel meaningful and open real doors for them academically and professionally. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Florida International University. I began tutoring CS students during my junior year of college, initially helping classmates with Python and Java coursework, and grew my online tutoring practice steadily after graduation. Over the past 5 years I have helped high school students pass AP Computer Science A and Principles with scores of 4 and 5, helped college freshmen navigate their first semester of programming, and helped students build real portfolio projects including games, personal websites, and Python automation scripts they are genuinely proud to show off. I received consistently five-star ratings across more than 110 completed online tutoring sessions in 2023, and I am deeply committed to making sure every student I work with walks away from every session with a clear understanding of the material, an accurate answer to whatever question brought them there, and the confidence to tackle the next challenge on their own.

About the lesson

My programming lessons are practical, clearly structured, and focused on giving students real coding skills they can actually use and build on over time. I cover Python from beginner through intermediate level, JavaScript and ES6 fundamentals, Java and object-oriented programming concepts, HTML and CSS for web design and development, C++ basics and syntax, SQL and PostgreSQL database fundamentals, introductory artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts, video game development using Python, and AP Computer Science A and Principles exam preparation. I use live coding platforms like Replit and VS Code during every session so students write, run, and test real code throughout the lesson rather than just watching. I am a top-rated tutor for advanced problem solving, concept clarity, and accurate answer techniques, which means when a student is stuck on a bug, confused about an algorithm, or working through a tough exam question, I walk them through the solution clearly and make absolutely sure they understand how to approach that type of problem independently next time.
