About Ansel

I am a dedicated piano tutor with a Master’s degree in Music and a deep passion for both teaching and performing. My journey with piano began in early childhood and evolved into a lifelong commitment to mastering the instrument and sharing that knowledge with others. Music has always been my way of connecting with the world, and I aim to help students discover their own musical voice. With 9 years of teaching experience, I’ve worked with students across different ages and skill levels, from young beginners to adults returning to piano after years away. My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and structured to suit each student’s pace. I believe that every learner deserves a customized approach that reflects their strengths, interests, and goals. My lessons emphasize not only technical growth but also creativity and expression. I focus on making music enjoyable and meaningful, helping students develop confidence in their playing and a deeper appreciation for the art form. I also integrate theory, ear training, and performance skills to give students a well-rounded musical education. Outside of teaching, I stay active in the music community through solo and collaborative performances, as well as ongoing study. This continued engagement with music allows me to bring fresh insights and real-world experience into my lessons, creating a dynamic and inspiring learning environment for every student.
